Audio Codec for IP and X21
- Multinetwork audio codec, with the widest range of compression algorithms as standard, from apt-X™ to AAC HE.
- Can be controlled locally from its front panel, or remotely from its Web Page or from ProdysControl.
- Audio streaming over any standard TCP/IP network with Unicast, Multicast and Multi-Unicast (up to 10) connections.
- Meets all mandatory RFC’s comprising the initial standard for IP compatibility of the EBU group: SIP/SAP/SDP/RTP.
- Easy configuration to optimize link for low delay, jitter and utilization.
- FEC (Forward Error Correction) over IP.
- Automatic detection of the encoding mode and independent enc/dec operation.
- BackUp System: ISDN as a secondary link for IP/X21.
- Alarm management via SNMP/GPO/email.
- AES/EBU transparent for Dolby E over IP.

ProntoNet IP Decoder
The ProntoNet IP Decoder enhances the Prodys IP codec family. It is based on ProntoNet technology and is meant to be used along with ProntoNet, Nereus and Portanet in audio distribution applications where unidirectional communications are required. It offers the same functionalities as ProntoNet over IP, except that it is only a decoder.
