The phenomenal success of Redbox, a range of analogue and digital audio interface boxes, is set to continue. Throughout this year, Sonifex is launching several new additions to the range taking the total number of products available from 13 to 19.
The Redbox range was launched about 2 years ago and met with immediate success. Sales have well exceeded over 3000 with no sign of their popularity abating. This is without the new additions due to be launched throughout this year.
Managing Director, Marcus Brooke said "I'm delighted with the success of the Redboxes. Sales growth on the products is almost exponential at the moment and as new products are released, more people are finding a Redbox that they need for their applications."
New Redboxes include 3 stereo matching amplifiers for interfacing domestic or semi-professional unbalanced equipment, such as a CD player, to professional balanced line levels :
RB-UL1 single unbalanced to balanced converter (available Feb 2001),
RB-UL2 dual unbalanced to balanced converter (available April 2001),
RB-UL4 quad unbalanced to balanced converter, in a 1U rack (available April 2001).
The RB-MA1 single microphone amplifier consists of a low noise microphone pre-amplifier for converting mic level signals to line level, or for driving long lines from microphones to mixing equipment. The RB-SM1 single stereo to mono converter converts a fully buffered and balanced mono line output from a stereo input.
