Sonifex recently presented their awards for their best UK and export distributors for the year 2002/2003. The awards of champagne and an engraved plaque went to The Oxford Sound Company, who won the top UK distributor award, and Interstage of Denmark, who won the top export distributor award.
Presenting the awards to Andrew Riley of The Oxford Sound Company, and Finn Juul of Interstage, Marcus Brooke, Managing Director of Sonifex, commented: "This last financial year has been a good one for us, thanks in no small part to all of our distributors, who do an excellent job on our behalf. We’ve carried out a number of projects for The Oxford Sound Company and Interstage has been our best export distributor for a number of the last few years, despite the very small territory that they operate in. A presentation such as this is just a small token of our real appreciation for their efforts."
Finn Juul, Managing Director of Interstage said "Interstage has worked with Sonifex for more than 17 years now, and they have constantly been a cornerstone in our product range. Not only have they managed to be in the very front of the new digital era, but they have also continuously expanded their range of analogue equipment, making it an essential line for the broadcast and installations business.”
Andrew Riley, Managing Director of The Oxford Sound Company commented “It has been a pleasure doing business with Sonifex over the past 12 months. Their business ethic and attitude is similar to our own. The Sonifex products are well made, which in tandem with the efficient service from their technical and administration staff means that we have been able to confidently honour our commitments to our customers."
Sonifex has celebrated some major high points this last financial year, with major sales to BBC World Service and BBC English Regions and a large order for Courier portable recorders to India.
