To present the awards Managing Director of Sonifex Ltd, Marcus Brooke, travelled to the two companies to hand them over personally.
Canford Audio is based in Washington, near Newcastle, UK and the award was accepted by Managing Director Chas Kennedy. We’re delighted to still be number one in the UK for sales of Sonifex products."
In New Delhi, the export award was given to Rakesh Aggarwal, Managing Director of Comcon, and his wife Usha. Mr Aggarwal commented :"We’ve sold over 520 Courier portable recorders to AIR and they are using them across India in varying climatic conditions. The technical support that AIR have received from us has been backed up by Sonifex all the way and we’ve recently sent engineers over to the UK for training. We’ve got a great relationship with Sonifex and hope that it continues".
Whilst in New Delhi, Brooke also attended the opening of the New Broadcasting House of All India Radio (AIR). Marcus Brooke said: "Rakesh and his team deserve every respect for their hard work. At the opening of the new AIR building it was clear that he is held in high regard by the engineers there".
